According to data provided by the SFE (Servico de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras) , 1182 gold visas were handed over by the Portuguese authorities in 2020 to foreign investors in Portugal.
Although there has been a drop in the number of permits delivered, compared to the previous year, it appears that it is still highly wanted by foreign investors.
It's 2020 in statistics as the 6th year with the highest delivery of golden visas since the program was created in 2012.
